No More Angry Calls to Customer Service

“I just received the following note from one of our Inner Circle members.  Below the note is my response.”

Short video on internet speed by the White House.

The Daily Upworthiest

We interrupt your regularly scheduled junk-mail archiving time for something really important and dear to our hearts.

It’s about the Internet. You know, the thing we’re talking to you from? The powerful place that has helped launch entire social and political movements AND has all the cat GIFs and Netflix? Yeah, that thing.

The Internet is such an enormous force in our world, yet so many people have trouble accessing it. Even here in the United States.  So we’ve started to wonder: What if there was a way to make the Internet just all-around better for everyone? To make everyone’s Internet faster, cheaper, and more accessible? Wouldn’t it be nice to live in a world where it didn’t take an eternity to load a single website?

And hey, what if there was, say, a video exclusive to Upworthy straight from the folks at the White House all about how this Internet stuff could work? And what if … what if this video was just below all of this text?

Huh. That would be pretty cool, right? Well, “what if” no longer because this video is a reality! We really had you going, right? OK, OK, we’ll stop talking so you can start watching.
