FS-Green Legacy

The tragedy unfolding in Iraq today is only part of the story. Al Qaeda and its affiliates are resurgent across the globe. According to a recent Rand study, between 2010 and 2013, there was a 58% increase in the number of Salafi-jihadist terror groups around the world. During that same period, the number of terrorists doubled.”

You can look for many ways to explain what has happened, but one EASY, direct method would be to understand what happens under FS-Green Leadership.

CP-RED seeks opportunity. FS-Green ALWAYS provides that opportunity because of the mistaken perspective that people will be reasonable (like FS-Green is reasonable.)

The belief @BS is that people are rational and reasonable.

This is the farthest from the facts, as almost all research (of late) shows people to be irrational and unreasonable, adhering to self-interests and NOT advancing their thinking or perspectives in broader terms to encompass more complex perspectives!

Right or Wrong, these dynamics can easily be described by the perspectives from each values-basin.

Many people find it “unreasonable” for people to want to stop modernism, however if you look at a much broader picture, one way to deal with accelerating complexity is to decelerate complexity through regression, or the “lack” of progression–choosing instead to take on the problems of a different era/values emergence.

MOST modern people who assume that to twart progression is WRONG.

I would suggest to you that it is an effective way to deal with the onset of problems associated with “accelerating” complexity, however it will NOT fit most western values, which is why there are such large differences culturally between East-West-MiddleEast cultures.

Regression also buys time in the limits to growth model, but at a values cost which is not easy to swallow for most.

The question is this:

Does anyone have a right to impose their values on others…

especially those who do not want those values imposed.

Does each fight for their right to impose and to resist?

And there you have the explanation of what is occurring in the world today–oversimplified of course–because there are resources involved and along with that, the “threats” to modern, as well as pre-conventional values in the process.
